So the problem thet QtWebkit select text by itself after pressing space.
I tried this with  Qt 4.8.1 + QtWebkit 2.2.3 and Qt 4.8.4 + QtWebkit 2.3.1

1) So at first I insert just normal text.
2) After I add one more word, and wrap it in tag using this javascript function
3) After I press space one more time and Webkit selected all text till by itself and I can not delete this selection, only if select it by hand one more time.

Also you can try to repeat this bug in standard example http://qt.gitorious.org/qt-labs/graphics-dojo/trees/c8d0c381b994d7417863832929cc4c3f710f2db5/htmleditor.  For repeat find there "strikethrough", put cursor after it and press space

So maybe somebody know how to fix this behavior?
