          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux

          Priority: P3

Well, you are best off to wait a bit for the others to get the most complete picture. Newer Linux distros seem to be affected, whilst older distros are unaffected by this bug. I'm reporting it here hoping the GNOME developers of libwebkitgtk-3.0.0 notice it. Yes, I'm running Ubuntu, but people running Fedora have experienced the same issue. I will attach logs as I get more help, forgive me I've never filed a Webkit bug before (familiar with Mozilla and GNOME, but not Webkit's bugzilla/debug process). Anyhow, feel free to bug me and to an extent the other guys here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/nuvola-player/+bug/1200818

to get to the bottom of this. This is a pretty useless bug report at the moment, but I WILL update it as soon as I have a clue what to debug and what's going on. I'm also curious to as if this bug relates to Ubuntu and Fedora or started with some bad code all the way at the top. That way we can fix it. Now to what I actually know about the bug. Google Play Music won't play at all in Nuvola Player. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Why in the heck is he reporting this bug here?" Because the developer researched the logs users were uploading and found that the bug relates to this package in multiple distributions, not just Ubuntu or Nuvola Player. As a result of this analysis, this is a major side effect of the bug for that one application. This likely means that more unintended consequences will result for other applications depending on the library. So my question is, can you guys find out what in the application is causing this after you help us get some decent logs, and then patch it? It would also be nice if you linked to the commit so I can report it in LaunchPad and someone can (hopefully) cherry pick it and patch Ubuntu's version, and then other users can report it in each distro and ask for a cherry pick. A bit complex, but this is the quickest way I see this getting solved. Take note that I'm not using the official package, but I believe it originated upstream, so if another user/developer could see if it happens with the cleanest least distro-specific code from a fresh compile, then we can really get to patching this and fix this issue eventually for this application, and prevent the bug from affecting other applications as well.
