I propose to use Ajax Cloud9 Editor instead of CodeMirror. It has better behavior, close to desktop-level editors. See demo here: http://ace.ajax.org/build/kitchen-sink.html

Did anybody discuss a third-party editor choice before CodeMirror integration? I'm ready to contribute.
