Screenshot of error on iMac

When attempting to visit the webgl website (http://www.webgl.com/reddit-webgl-barack-obama-ama-globe/) that shows President Obama's reddit hits in 3D, both native Safari and Webkit show an error and a stopped loading screen. The error is "Sorry, your graphics card doesn't support WebGL". However, if I open the same link in Chrome the website loads and I can manipulate the 3D globe without issue/error. I have recreated this scenario on both a 2009 iMac and a 2012 Macbook Pro Retina.

Both computers are running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1
