Summary: Qt: QtWebKit crashes on QNX 6.5.0 when YARR is enabled
Product: WebKit
Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebKit Qt
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
ReportedBy: milian.wolff at kdab.com
With YARR enabled, loading Google or similar websites crashes any QtWebKit application with a SIGBUS and garbled stacktrace. By chance I disabled YARR manually in Platform.h and now it seems to run quite stable.
Considering that this crash does not occur on a BBNDK 2.0.1 playbook, which is also based on QNX, I'm unsure on how to proceed. Disabling YARR for all QNX targets will negatively impact the performance of QtWebKit on the playbook then, no?
Could someone maybe give me a clue on how to debug this? Are there common issues in YARR that might affect this? Maybe there are some define switches I could enable to get advanced debug information?
The target device is a 32bit ARM panda board.
