Overflow on svg elements should be specifiable in CSS. The spec is very clear on this point:

http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/masking.html#OverflowProperty

This bug makes certain complex responsive page layouts extremely difficult. It's broken everywhere, even in Opera. It would be great to see webkit take the lead on this. Please fix.
