Once I pulled on enough string, I found that the prettydiff is actually generated by this script: http://trac.webkit.org/browser/trunk/Websites/bugs.webkit.org/PrettyPatch/PrettyPatch.rb

(It's wrapped in several layers of Python, but that Ruby script does all the real work.)
