Summary: A bug relating to ::selection and child border-widths.
Product: WebKit
Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
Platform: Macintosh
URL: http://result.dabblet.com/gist/2660755
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: CSS
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
ReportedBy: nat at nath.is
This is a demo of a bug found in Chrome 18.0.1025.168. If it affects over versions (including Safari), I am unaware of this. The bug seems to affect the selector ::selection. The bug appears when ::selection:
a) Has a background
b) Has a inline element with changing border widths.
When the child's border width changes, it affects the background of the ::selection. When the border-width changes back to it's normal stage, a few pixels of the ::selection's background disappears.
