When I saw that first time, I tried it with Safari and Chrome.  With Safari and webkit the behavior was the same on both, white windows when jumping back from any link inside the site, with Chrome all worked fine.   I then tried iPhone, and it worked well.

Anyway, the progress bar also got stuck.  I have now tried it again and yes, it is exactly as you say:  progress bar get stuck (is the only site where I've seen that) but now the pages jump back well.
