Summary: Web Inspector: Audit - unused CSS file size too large
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.7
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Web Inspector
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: ben at neutroncreations.com
CC: timothy at apple.com, rik at webkit.org, keishi at webkit.org,
pmuellr at yahoo.com, joepeck at webkit.org,
pfeldman at chromium.org, yurys at chromium.org,
bweinstein at apple.com, apavlov at chromium.org,
                    loislo at chromium.org

In the audit report for http://whipcar.com, a performance guideline suggests that in "master.css" 1.90MB worth of CSS is not being used by the current page.

This file is only around 300KB in total, and this correct figure is shown on the Network tab in Web Inspector.

On another (local) site I examined, the Audit report claimed that over 1200MB of CSS was unused (again for a CSS file of a few hundred KB in actual size).
