Running the unit tests under jhbuild often forces the GSettings me mory backend to 'memory.' When it's forced this way it produces a warning:

GLib-GIO-Message: Using the 'memory' GSettings backend.  Your settings will not be saved or shared with other applications.

This makes it very hard to read the test output.
