squashed svg mask applied to div layer using -webkit-mask-box-image

in the above url, we're using -webkit-mask-box-image to mask a div layer.
this works perfectly in safari however in chrome as you can see the mask height is squashed to the browser size resulting the attached image.
you can verify that the svg height is different when viewed separately - http://exchange.igoa.in/kenan/kenan_outline.svg
therefore this appears to be a bug with the browser's rendering.

hope you can resolve this at the earliest.
