In Qt 4.8.2, you add "-fuse-ld=gold" to LFLAGS for linux-g++ in src/3rdparty/webkit/Source/common.pri. But this flag is not supported by upstream gcc (even though some distributions patch gcc to support it).
Thus, the build might fail if the gold linker is present on your system. Please remove the flag from LDFLAGS.
