There's 2 phenomenon due to this issue.

1. Styles inherited even though applyAuthorStyles is explicitly set as "false"

distributed content won't show up until
- you explicitly give applyAuthorStyles = true
- you open up DevTools and click inside rectangle with magnifier via Elements tab
