Lot of warnings like /usr/bin/ranlib: file: libWebCore_debug.a(AccessibilityMediaControls.o) has no symbols, and after that it fails with ar: fatal error in /usr/bin/ranlib. However it does create libWebCore_debug.a, I guess it fails when creating the release lib. I have faced  with that when building against a debug qt build, maybe that matters.
