RGraph inside frame

When using canvas graphics on a page that resides inside a html frame, the fonts on the the page are rendered somehow different. They seem to loose some weight.

Steps:
Use a page with canvas renderings (http://www.rgraph.net/; http://www.jqplot.com/tests/line-charts.php) inside a frame and as a standalone page.

Expected Result:
The pages should look the same in both cases.

Actual Result:
The fonts on pages inside the frames have less weight, text looks thinner.

Browsers:
Safari 5.1.2 (7534.52.7), WebKit Nightly r106392

Not affected:
Chrome (16.0.912.77)
