I am seeing the same thing in Qt versions 4.8.0, 4.8.1, 4.8.2.  This is preventing me from updating from 4.7.5.

I have web view with an iframe in the lower-left corner, 300x250px.  When the frame loads, a white box flashes in the upper left of the window (as if the iframe were located at the top-left), and the actual iframe never renders anything.
