Both of the referenced files return 404s, and there are no other testcases to look at.  As Mitz says, Webkit has never rendered underlines on <abbr>/<acronym> by default.  If you add a text-decoration rule, it works as normal, whether you are using @font-face or not.

I'm going to mark the bug as INVALID for now.  If a problem still exists, please reopen the bug and add a testcase as an attachment, so there's no chance of the testcase disappearing.
