Summary: [Chromium] Enabling GPU compositor while on Google
                    Reader causes rendering issues
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Unspecified
        OS/Version: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: scherkus at chromium.org
CC: jamesr at chromium.org, enne at google.com

I tried for a while to get a reduced test case but failed :(

Fortunately it's very easy to repro and happens on Linux and Mac (haven't tried Windows).

Steps:
 1) Enroll in YT HTML5 beta to make <iframe> embeds use <video> where available: http://www.youtube.com/html5
 2) Sign into Google reader
 3) Navigate to a feed that contains like of YT embeds
 4) ***make sure vertical scroll bar is activated by shrinking window or using a feed with lots of entries***
 5) Right click on YT embed to verify it's using <video> (you should see an HTML menu as opposed to native flash menu)
 6) Click play
 7) Scroll with mousewheel -- notice that the layout is messed up

I've attached an image demonstrating the issue. It looks like a compositing layer is offset by the same amount of pixels as the left-hand navigation pane.
