Page showing link that doesn't open pop-up on Mac Safari

Mahmoud briefly allowed me to use his Firefox session so as to extract this sub-page that has an example hyperlink "Class 7 - Skill Building - Distance". Clicking on this hyperlink in Mac Safari Version 5.1.1 (7534.51.22) doesn't open a new window regardless of whether block pop-ups are enabled. In contrast, clicking on this hyperlink in Mac Firefox 7.0.1 opens a pop-up window.
