Summary: Timeline in media controller not repainted properly on
initial load
Product: WebKit
Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
Platform: All
URL: http://www.clayloomis.com/Sounds/simp302b.wav
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: Media Elements
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
ReportedBy: jonlee at apple.com
When loading a wav file in the browser the timeline background does not repaint fully. I am seeing this on ToT Safari, but can demonstrate this on Google Chrome Canary also (not sure which change list it is built on).
Open up a web browser and load a wav file, such as:
http://www.clayloomis.com/Sounds/simp319c.wav
or
http://www.clayloomis.com/Sounds/simp302b.wav
You may need to reload the "page" twice. The rendering bug doesn't occur consistently. On Canary, after the welcome screen, I load the latter URL, and after the .wav plays, I get a display similar to what is attached. As soon as I focus another window the timeline repaints appropriately. Subsequent reloads work fine.
I think it may have to do with files that load quickly, but do not appropriately repaint the timeline.
