Summary: Issues with diacritics on Google Docs with
                    Safari;Chrome OK
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Major
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML Editing
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: david at latapie.name

• Safari 5.1 (7534.45) on Mac OS X Lion DP4 French. I did not check with latest nightly build or with “regular” Lion.
• Happens on Google Docs
• May require an AZERTY (French) keyboard to reproduce

Impossible to type "ê" (circumflex + e).
- No problem with composing it elsewhere (like TextEdit) and pasting (like this: ê), only composing (^+e) is impossible.
- No problem with “pre-combined” diacrited characters, like "é".
- No problem with Chrome 12

I suspect the same issue arises with other non-combined characters in other languages. Said otherwise, I don't think it is related to the AZERTY layout per se.
