           Summary: REGRESSION (5.0.3-ToT): Opening
                    compositing/animation/animated-composited-inside-hidde
n.html in Safari pegs CPU, doesn't animate
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: NeedsRadar, Regression
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: aroben at apple.com
                CC: simon.fraser at apple.com

To reproduce:

1. Open compositing/animation/animated-composited-inside-hidden.html in Safari

Safari starts pegging the CPU, and the test doesn't animate. This happens on both Mac and Windows.

On Windows, at least, the page is constantly switching into/out of compositing mode. I suspect the same thing is happening on Mac.

Simon says this test does still pass in DRT.
