Summary: css that depends on element attribute sometimes
                    doesn't get update correctly
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: CSS
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: estade at chromium.org

See attachment. When you load it, the page should be blank (it works in FF4). However, in tip of tree chrome/webkit, it displays the span, even though the web inspector shows that the CSS rule with display: none is applied to the <span>.

The motivation for this report/reduction is that this apparent bug is causing issues for chrome://settings.
