Summary: Unavailability to style <meter> tags with CSS
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://jsfiddle.net/aBMKN/1/
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: CSS
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: intemperie at gmail.com

As you can see in the demo, the newest engine (Nightly and Chrome) isn't able to style the HTML5 <meter> tag, even applying -webkit-appearance: none; to the element. The element renders with the default styling. Any workaround for this? Works fine in older Safari versions.
