           Summary: Video player freezes
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://www.nonoche.com/webtv/index.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Media Elements
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: nonoche at nonoche.com

steps to reproduce :
- go to http://www.nonoche.com/webtv/index.html

okay, this one is a little tricky to reproduce, I haven't completely nailed it yet. Here's how you're likely to reproduce it :

- be on a humble bandwidth (~1 Mbps)
- click on either the first icon (M6) or the third one (NRJ12) and wait for the live stream to start

after a few minutes, and apparently when the media player tries to switch back to a lower bandwidth stream, the whole video player freezes : it remains on a still image while the sound keeps playing, and the status bar won't react anymore (won't show when the mouse cursor rolls over it if it was previously hidden, or won't hide if it was showing, or won't react to clicks).

This could be specific to those streams (the problem doesn't seem to happen as much/at all with the other sources. That being said, this bug doesn't happen in QuickTime Player nor on iOS.

I'm sorry I don't have more details, I tried looking for an inactive thread in Activity Monitor to no avail. I can reproduce the bug fairly easily on my end, so if there is something you would need me to inspect to help isolate the problem just let me know.
