I agree, the meaning of "remove" here needs to be clarified.

Note: This is difficult to do well because as a page dynamically changes then CSS rules that
may have been unused may take affect later on. And, most sites use a single CSS file for
multiple pages to take advantage of caching, and bits and parts of that CSS file may relate to
different parts of their site. An example would be 1 CSS file containing styles for a "header"
affecting all pages and also some styles for "comments" which would only be on drilled in pages.
