Summary: Safari turns line break in designMode into break
                    inclosed in div
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: JavaScriptCore
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: lvschie at me.com

When entering designMode, Safari turns an enter into a < div > < br > < /div > while it should just create a < br > or a paragraph < p > < / p >. Other browsers like FireFox do handle this in the right way.
