Derived from Bug 47659. Following set of TextInputController API is not IM framework specific and 
should be available via LayoutController.

- textInputController.attributedSubstringFromRange
- textInputController.firstRectForCharacterRange
- textInputController.selectedRange
- textInputController.hasSpellingMarker
