Summary: Trailing space at end of line is _occasionally_ added
                    to the last element
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://earthlingsoft.net/ssp/sandvox/listest.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: ssp-web at earthlingsoft.net

Usually, browsers remove trailing whitespace at the end of the line and ensure that it doesn't extend the elements appearing there.

However, in some situations, the trailing whitespace is added. This behaviour appears quite inconsistently, but I describe a way to reproduce it (in current Safari as well as the r71806 nightly) in the document at:

http://earthlingsoft.net/ssp/sandvox/listest.html

A movie demonstrating the issue is at
