print_r is painful

Chrome Version       : 6.0.408.1 dev

URLs (if applicable) : http://www.wowwiki.com, http://adtest.wikia.com/wiki/Liftium

Other browsers tested:
     Safari 4: FAIL
  Firefox 3.x: OK
         IE 7: N/T
         IE 8: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use hosts file do resolve all ad servers to 0.0.0.0
2. Visit wikia sites using liftium ads like wowwiki.com

What is the expected result?
Site loads quickly with ads blocked.

What happens instead?
Site loads halfway then freezes browser for 10 seconds, may or may not warn that scripts are failing.

possible.

It doesn't happen in IE or Firefox!
