What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to panic.com/blog
2. Scroll down to the "vegan co-op luncheon" post
3. Scroll that post using keyboard, trackpad, etc

Smudges appear. Happens with Safari 4, WebKit nightly r59204, and chromium/mac dev channel.
