Anders, is this something a plug-in should be allowed to do? My guess is that
this should work, and we're destroying the plug-in at a wrong time.

Simon, this bug report says "Mac OS X 10.5", but that doesn't match the code
path in stack trace. Correcting the platform to Mac OS X 10.6, but I wonder if
this also happens in same process case (i.e. in 32 bit).
