Summary: After closing an inline PDF doc in the Adobe Reader
plugin with Ctrl + W, Safari crashes
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Major
          Priority: P2
         Component: Plug-ins
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: ryuichi.kubuki at lunascape.co.jp

1. Install Adobe Reader 9.3.1
2. Run Safari 4.0.4
3. Enter a URL of a PDF doc in the address bar to load it in the tab
4. Move the keyboard input focus to the search edit box at the top of the PDF
plugin
5. Enter Ctrl + W
6. Select an icon in the Safari toolbar

Actual result:

The content area gets no update after closing the PDF plugin, then Safari
crashes if you try other random operations

Expected result:

No crash and appropriate repainting in the content area

It's 100% reproducible and also happens on QtWebKit (Qt 4.7 Tech Preview).
