It's not at all clear to me what the correct treatment of transparency and
absolute positioning is with respect to background-color. It is clear that it's
much lower priority than this bug though. I'm not really convinced that we have
to deal with transparency and absolute positioning. If we find ourselves with a
site that needs it though, then we can discuss it then with a real use-case in
front of us.
