i've discovered a bug when testing safari 5, reproduces fully with nightly build 60820
when i start to debug this page ( http://j.benzakoun.free.fr/JSNE/JavaScriptNoteEditor_b2/index.php?loadid=13&key=d16ad39b783f65e55410ab5d8ca9b4ab ) using Web Inspector, WebKit and all MacOS freezes. I have to force quit WebKit in order to regain access to my computer. I waited max 20 minutes without seeing WebKit crashing.
This page used to be debugged without any problem in Safari 4.
All i have in my console is :
08/06/10 17:51:05 kernel (default pager): [KERNEL]: Switching ON Emergency paging segment
08/06/10 17:51:09 kernel (default pager): [KERNEL]: System is out of paging space.
(...many identical lines...)
08/06/10 18:05:52 kernel (default pager): [KERNEL]: System is out of paging space.
08/06/10 18:06:43 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[242] ([0x0-0x3e03e].org.webkit.nightly.WebKit[508]) Exited: Terminated
08/06/10 18:06:47 kernel (default pager): [KERNEL]: Recovered emergency paging segment
Of course all extensions have been disabled. I don't have any crash report.
Couldn't have tried it on others computers but it is fully reproducible on mine
i tried a few nightlies up to r55891 and the bug reproduces. couldn't test any older version because of WebKit crashing.
thanks
