Where are you hearing these complaints?

I don't think this mock helps, and just makes things confusing and visually cluttered. You are shwoing a button that isn't on screen yet, that is not in it's final location and expect the user to remember this in the future.

I suggest just improving the wording in the gray text to mention you can disable it later. And maybe tweak the "slower" message.

This "problem" isn't just for the Resources panel either. If we change one, we hould make similar changes to all the enable views.
