I suspect this could be a real timeout.  It would help greatly if someone with
a gtk build could time how long this test takes, or get a sample of what it's
doing.

If we don't make any progress soon, we should skip this to keep the bots green
until we have a test expectations system which allows us to have tests which
expect both pass and timeout results.
