José, thanks for taking this on!

Having done some quick testing on it, it looks good. One minor thing I noticed
with the following two lines from the test case:

* This sentence has the words sentence in superscript.
* This sentence has the word sentence in subscript.

The first instance of <sup></sup> and <sub></sub> each report a rise and size,
but the second one does not.
