Steps to reproduce: 
1. Log into Your Gmail account your appropriate Credentials.
2. Set gmail "view mode" as Standard(Default) - The active mode which is set
can be seen at the bottom center of the Gmail page.
3. Select "contacts" option present in the left pane options (Can be seen above
Chat window).
Expected Behavior : The list of contacts must be loaded.
Actual Behavior : Page loads for some time and contacts page is empty.

Note : I am able to see the contacts properly using mozilla firefox.
