I'm using Webkit as my default browser. I'm running a Macbook Pro(mid 2009)
model, Snow Leopard, and my Safari is Version 4.0.4 (6531.21.10). My webkit is
Version 4.0.4 (6531.21.10, r55043), although the last nightly build was doing
this also. 
Every time I launch Webkit Safari also launches. If I close it and then open a
new tab in Webkit, Safari launches. In some case I will close Safari and it
will immediately reopen. I search for a another instance of this bug but
haven't seen it. I have only one Mac so I don't have another machine to test it
on.
