I could reproduce this bug with following code: 
body {font:0.9em "Lucida Grande",  "Lucida Sans Unicode", Trebuchet, Helvetica,
Arial,verdana, sans-serif; height: 100%;}

qt 4.6.2, Linux (tested in rekonq browser)
