Are there any further thoughts on David's proposed patch? It seems like a
reasonable approach, and it would be nice to get a fix for the _parseNumber()
function, which is clearly broken at present.

That being said, there are further issues, as it is easy to create a sample SVG
file that works with the current parser (and even stays in the range of 'int'),
but still fails to render in the current release of WebKit under Chrome (see
attached).
