I think there are people from other ports cc'd on the bug so they can chime in
if they intend to use the setting. Perhaps there is usually some consensus
built with other parts before adding a setting to webcore? It's there if they
want to use it I guess. It might be a natural fit with the 'Private Browsing'
mode offered by some browsers.

Yes, it would. Solving it without a setting - i.e. allowing the CSS style to
display normally without leaking the information remotely - appears to be an
intractable problem at this point. But if a solution is ever found, then it
would make this setting obsolete.
