Summary: Javascript cannot accurately track number of
                    characters pasted into textarea
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: All
               URL: http://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/createVen
                    dorProfile://
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: New Bugs
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: thestig at chromium.org

Use a Google login to access
http://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/createVendorProfile. In the
"Company overview" box, paste in some text. The textarea has a 500 character
limit, and there is text below indicating how many characters are left.

With IE 8, Firefox 3, and Opera 10, when you paste into that text area, the
character limit text is updated correctly.

With Chrome 4 on Windows and Linux, the character limit text is not updated
until you type something into the box. Same for Safari 4 on Windows.
