I know you don't have a mac :-), so what I'm trying to say is that if you were
making a Qt specific change (let's say to FontQt.cpp) then this would be a
sufficient test for us, but this is a cross platform change.

If it breaks mac or so, it will just get reverted. Keep that in mind. This is
really the reason why I would like you to commit the WebCore required changes
first in a separate patch.
