The workaround doesn’t apply to yet older versions of MediaWiki (see
<http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/phase3/skins/monobook/KHTMLFixes.css?view=log&pathrev=53140>)
because:
1) The stylesheet has only one instead of two trailing newlines and
2) The stylesheet is loaded from a <link> element rather than an @import rule
