Odd, this doesn't work for me and many others.

Might this be a version issue with GCC, glib/gtk and webkit?

(IIRC there was/is a similar issue with GCC 4.4 and webkit
on 64bit platforms)

Anyway, for the records:
Platform 32bit
GCC      4.4.2
Webkit   1.1.16
Glib     2.22.2
Gtk      2.18.3
