Summary: Using access keys (control option <key>) can create
                    invisible characters
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Forms
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: drew at umn.edu

The cardinal example being ctrl-opt-s which triggers the save command on the
edit screens of TWiki/Foswiki (twiki.org/foswiki.org). Sometimes it triggers
the save per normal and sometimes it adds an invisible character in the input
that then gets submitted and causes all kinds of trouble. Versions of
Safari/WebKit prior to what shipped with Leopard used the more standard
ctrl-<key> method that all the other Mac browsers use. This does not appear to
ever accidentally generate invisible characters.
