Screenshots of the issue

In WinXP you can highlight an input field value and drag it into another (or
the same) field. Dragging text like this into an input[type=search] field,
specifically its lower left-hand corner will then make the text value overlap
the magnifying glass handle in the field.

Steps to reproduce:
1. go to http://store.apple.com/us
2. in the blue masthead box do a search for "accessories"
3. on the results page:
  a. highlight the "accessories" in the input[type=search] field
  b. drag the highlighted value to the lower left-hand corner of the search
field, until the cursor changes to include a dotted rectangle (indicating a
drop target) and then release
